Under normal circumstances, you shouldn't have to figure out where the license file is located, because if AppCenter is able to communicate with Meridia servers, it will automatically place the correct files into the correct locations.
However, sometimes your corporate firewall, or web traffic filtering software will block the AppCenter from communicating with our servers and thus we will not be able to automate the license activation. In those cases, we will have to send you a manually generated license (a .CSV file) that you will need to place into the following folder.
Depending on the operating system (OS) that you're using, you will look for:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Meridia\Common
Windows Vista/7/8/10
C:\ProgramData\Meridia\Common
If you do not see the ProgramData folder, it could be "hidden", because it's a System Folder.
In that case, simply navigate to your Computer (often called "This PC") and click on the "C:\", "Local Disk", or "OS" drive.
Click in the address bar, so that the contents is highlighted and click one more time to start typing "ProgramData"
Your complete address line should read: "C:\ProgramData". Press Enter to open that location.
Here, you will find a Meridia folder and inside of it, the Common folder.
If these two don't exist, create them manually and place your license file into the Common folder.
You can also "unhide" the ProgramData folder temporarily or permanently, so that you can always see it next time.
In Windows XP, follow these steps:
Clicking on Tools opens up a drop-down menu...go ahead and select Folder options
In the Folder options page, select the View tab. Under Hidden files and folders, move the radio button from Don't Show...to Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Hit Apply and OK...you should now be able to see the Program Data file in the C: Drive folder.
