Error "417" appears when trying to log into the AppCenter

If while logging into the Meridia AppCenter, you see an error similar to this:



...you ma​y have to ask your IT department to add "http://meridiaappcenterservice.cloudapp.net/" to the 'white list' or 'allowed sites' on your proxy/firewall.
