Turn off the automatic insertion of polling objects

If you don't like the Vote Counter or Countdown Clock objects on your polling slides and want to delete them, just click on each object and press the Delete key.

But if you wanted to prevent the Countdown or Vote Counter from being inserted in the first place, just go to Tools --> Settings and switch the Auto Insert option for each object OFF.
