Security Settings Preventing EZ-VOTE Installation

Modified on Tue, Mar 14, 2017 at 3:27 PM

Sometimes your organization's IT security protocols may prevent the EZ-VOTE installer from running correctly.

In some cases, even the initial download can be blocked and removed/quarantined before you get to the point of launching the installer.

Other times, you may be able to allow the specific installer package (EXE file) to launch and install correctly if you change its Properties.

Right-click on the EZ-VOTE2.EXE file you just downloaded and then click Properties menu item.

If you see the "Security" section on the General tab, you should also see the Unblock button:

Click Unblock, Apply and OK. You should be able to run the installer now.
