If you are trying to convert one of your non-ARS slides into an ARS slide but receive the following message when you press the Convert Slide button, your non-ARS slide may be in an improper format.
In order for a non-ARS slide to be converted into an ARS-slide, the format of the original slide must be a 'Title & Content' or 'Title & Text' slide.
If you are having trouble with this Convert tool, your presentation may have been customized with it's own formatting and this custom format could be preventing the Convert Slide tool from working.
Here's how you get your slide into the correct format so you can take advantage of the Convert slide feature.
Highlight the slide that you want to convert into an ARS/Interactive slide. Select the Home tab and locate the Layout drop-down menu in the Slides area under the Home tab. You will see the slide that your non-ARS slide takes it's format from highlighted. Change that selection to Title and Text.
Now your slide should be in the proper format to Convert. Go to the Meridia tab, make sure the slide you want to convert is highlighted and press the Convert Slide. A new, fully functional, ARS slide will appear directly under the non-ARS slide, which you can now hide or delete because you have your interactive slide created.
