Cannot navigate forward, open polling, or start the clock in Presentation Mode

Problem

On a very rare occasion, you may experience this scenario:

- build your presentation with EZ-VOTE polling slides

- start Presentation Mode in PowerPoint

- navigate to the polling question

- when you click with the mouse, the app has no response (doesn't navigate forward and/or the countdown clock doesn't start)

We have traced a specific case of this behavior to a McAfee VirusScan security software, which is blocking our "Gma.System.MouseKeyHook.dll" EZ-VOTE installs on your system.

Solution

Your IT department needs to 'whitelist' the EZ-VOTE Connect installation folder on the workstation, and across the network: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Meridia" (and all of its subfolders)
