Problem
The EZ-VOTE Connect installation fails. Sometimes the installer 'rolls back' to previous state.
Log files mention Windows error code 0x80070643.
Sometimes a "RunDLL" error comes up with "There was a problem starting...XXX" and "XXX...is not a valid Win32 application" message.
Solution
The .NET Framework needs to be installed/updated.
.NET Framework is a required component that our installer needs to perform the full EZ-VOTE Connect install.
The Framework is included in our 'offline package', but sometimes, even if it already exists on your computer, it needs to be updated before our installer can proceed. Such update usually also requires a computer restart.
Do the .NET Framework update via the Windows Update console by clicking on the Start menu and typing "Check for updates" (typically, if you just type "Update" this option comes up automatically)
