I get an error message “the remote server returned an unexpected response (407) Proxy Authentication Required” and am not able to launch the AppCenter.
What we have here is your computer is restricting access to the AppCenter URL/webpage via the proxy, which facilitates access to web pages on the world wide web. An easy remedy for this is for you, or someone in your IT department, to place the following URL address into the “whitelisted” page, a list of allowed websites that your proxy would not block and give you that 407 error.
