"Activation Needed" message in EZ-VOTE toolbar

EZ-VOTE 1 and EZ-VOTE 2 use a licensing mechanism that is required to be activated once on each computer in your organization.

You can download and install the software on any number (unlimited) of computers, but you do need to activate the license on each of them.


If your EZ-VOTE connectivity indicator says: "Activation Needed", you will need to activate the license on this computer:


If you have already activated the license on another computer, just follow the directions from this knowledge base article and copy the license file from one machine to another.


Otherwise, simply follow the online activation instructions on www.meridiaars.com/appcenter and activate your license via the AppCenter app. 

Once activated, you will see which apps are licensed for your base(s) and when does the license expire. At this point, you can close the app and continue downloading your software from the AppCenter website (in the browser).




















If you still see the "Activation Needed" message on the EZ-VOTE toolbar, you may have downloaded the wrong software - one you're not licensed for.

For example, if your license is for EZ-VOTE 2, but you've installed EZ-VOTE 1.


Simply uninstall the the wrong app and install the correct one.
