If you're running a localized (foreign) version of Windows operating system, you may experience a problem.
Clicking on Base Settings may produce a .NET error, or if you insert a GF slide, you see a strange, 2D, horizontal area graph. A slide with a graph like that will not collect votes from keypads.
Solution: Change all language and regional settings (except keyboard, that one doesn't matter) to "English: US".
This might require a restart.
