EZ-VOTE Connect Runs in Demo Mode

For solution for an older EZ-VOTE 2 software, scroll to the bottom.

I have my base plugged in, but only 5 of my keypads work and the EZ-VOTE Connect apps run in Demo Mode.

This is a licensing/activation issue.

Your computer does not recognize the base that you have plugged in. Alternatively, the base itself IS being recognized, but you need to activate your license/subscription before all of your keypads will work.

Demo Mode manifests itself in a few ways. In the EZ-VOTE PowerPoint plugin, the Base Connectivity indicator will show "Demo Mode" when the base is disconnected:

Or when it's connected, but the activation still has not been completed:

When launching EZ-VOTE Connect from the desktop, you will initially see a prompt to log in:

And if you ignore it, at the bottom of the Dashboard, you will see: "Logged in as Demo" to indicate that you're still only going to be able to use 5 keypads:

Log into your CloudVOTE subscription.

Login, which consists of Join Code (previously Access Key) and Password has been provided to you, or you have created it yourself during your Referral Code redemption process.

You only need to log in once. Even if your CloudVOTE subscription expires, you will always be able to use your desktop software with keypads. Forever.

It's good to maintain your CloudVOTE subscription if you want to store, protect and share your presentation content from the Cloud and manage all results and reports from a single location, with data merged and aggregated automatically for you.

EZ-VOTE 2 Activation has been discontinued.
