If your polling (keypads) doesn't work, especially after you have just re-enabled the plugin via File --> Options --> Add-Ins, then you might need to refresh the Control Bar option in the program Settings.
Here's how you do it. Go to the EZ-VOTE tab, click on Tools --> Settings and find the Other Settings section:
Once there, make sure that the Show Control Bar option is set to "Slides with EZ-VOTE Objects"
