In this Article, we're going to talk about the process of signing up for and renewing your CloudVOTE Online Services and Maintenance plan.
You can sign up for a free, 2-week trial account at www.cloudvote.com/try.
You can then pay for the full version of CloudVOTE for 1 year by renewing your subscription.
One can also become a client by purchasing our electronic voting clickers, which automatically results in creation of a new 1-year CloudVOTE account.
After the first year, you NEVER have to renew the subscription if you just want to use the desktop software and the hardware that you own. You will ONLY need CloudVOTE plan if:
- you need to use remote/online participation
- you need desktop software upgrade
- you need security updates
- live training & support
There are two CloudVOTE account types available and they are assigned to you by Meridia at the time of account creation:
- Standard (Business) priced at $695/year
- Government & Non-Profit priced at $495/year
Both accounts provide the same features:
- allow up to 100 remote/mobile participants at any one session. No concurrent sessions are allowed.
- you can combine your remote audience with the audience in the room who can use clickers
- access to live training & support
If your subscription expired and you want to renew your plan, click on the Renew button in your CloudVOTE account:
Here's a variation of the 'Expired' screen from the EZ-VOTE Connect Desktop app with a Gov't & Non-Profit plan:
And this is the same EZ-VOTE Connect Dashboard with a Standard account:
Choose whether you want the charges to be Auto-Renewed (1) and click the Select button:
Once you process your payment (we use a secure Stripe connection), you'll be redirected to the Thank You (confirmation) page, where you can click on the "click here" link, or just click on the Content, or any other tab in your CloudVOTE account:
