Determine your PowerPoint version

Have you been asked what version of PowerPoint you are running? How do you find out if you are running 32 or 64-bit version?

Since version 2007, Microsoft has started to call the main toolbar in PowerPoint "Ribbon" and changed its look and feel in every version since (2010, 2013). If you don't have a "Ribbon" interface, you are definitely running Office 2003 and most of our software is NOT compatible with your system.

If you are running one of the versions described below, you will be able to tell us the information that we asked you to provide: version of the PowerPoint software, its 'flavor' or 'edition' and the architecture (32-bit vs. 64-bit). All this by simply taking a screen shot of the About dialog in PowerPoint.

This is your Ribbon if you have PowerPoint 2007:


From the main screen, click on the spherical "File" menu and then click PowerPoint Options:



When the Options window comes up, click on Resources and finally on the About button:


This is your Ribbon if you have PowerPoint 2010:


This is your Ribbon if you have PowerPoint 2013:


This is your Ribbon if you have PowerPoint 2016:
