When I insert a response grid from the Insert Object area, there are only 5 boxes. Why aren't there 40?

When you insert a Response Grid from the Insert Object menu the default setting is for 40 keypads.  If you are using a Participant List in your pptx. file, and the number is less than 40, then the Response Grid will only populate with the number of spaces needed for that particular list.
