If you are running into a situation where you were running EZ-VOTE and created a presentation/pptx file but then you installed GetFeedback and now when you run the presentation, no menu bar for GetFeedback appears, the voting doesn't open and no votes can be collected, here is a potential solution.
Because the .pptx file was created with EZ-VOTE but is now being used in GetFeedback, there may be some latent EZ-VOTE objects creating this issue. To find out if this is the case, open up your powerpoint/.pptx file. Choose the Add-Ins tab and select Settings in the Custom toolbar. Scroll down the headings to the Other Settings area and look next to the Show Control Bar....it is here that the following may be listed - Slides with EZ-VOTE objects.
If you do find that this is the case, go ahead and click on the drop-down menu next to Show Control Bar and choose Slides with Get Feedback Objects to correct any issues you may be having.
Select Apply and Yes when you get this message "Are you sure...?".
You should be all set now.
