EZ-VOTE doesn't allow polling on my PowerPoint (PPTX) file

If you find yourself in a situation when your slideshow with polling slides doesn't allow you to receive votes from your keypads and when you can't see the Control Bar on a polling slide even when the setting is turned ON in the Tools --> Settings window, you may fix the issue by following these steps:

• First, highlight all your slides (including any non-ARS ones if you have them in your slideshow)
  • You can do this by clicking on the first slide in the deck, going all the way down to the last slide and then while holding SHIFT, click on the last slide
  • You can also click on the first slide and then hold CTRL and press "A" (as in: ALL)
• Second, copy all the slides (CTRL + C) to the Clipboard
• Third, open a new PPTX file (File --> New --> Blank Presentation
• Fourth, paste the old slides into the new deck (CTRL + V)

Polling should now work in the new file, which you can save under a new name and start using it immediately.
