How do I reset the "Retry Internet Connection" reminder in EZ-VOTE Connect?

Modified on Wed, Feb 9, 2022 at 8:55 AM

Problem

When you are not connected to the internet, EZ-VOTE Connect will ask you if you want to continue without an active/open connection. If you check the box "Don't show this message again", you will never see the reminder, but that might sometimes be detrimental, as you might need internet connection some other time when you're using online voting.

By the way, it's OK to say no to the internet connection - none of our hardware or software requires internet for keypads to work, unless you are planning to use remote/hybrid voting mode.

Solution

The only way to reset this 'flag' and start seeing the reminder again is to delete the following file:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Meridia\LockBox. (where UserName is your actual username folder)

After you delete the file, you will have to log into the application (your CloudVOTE account) again, so please have your email address and password ready.

If you don't remember your password, but have access to the email, go to www.cloudvote.com/reset to reset it.
