Determine your Windows version

Modified on Thu, Nov 20, 2014 at 4:08 PM

Have you been asked what version of Windows you are running? How do you find out if you are running 32 or 64-bit? Why can't I remove that tag on my pillow?

Most of these questions have an easy answer:

If you're already in Ez-Vote 2, just open your Base Manager window and take a screenshot.  All the information your technician will need from you is right there.

OR

1) Hold down the Windows button

and press the "E" key.  This will open Windows explorer.

2) Near the top left of the Windows explorer window click the tile that says "System properties":

3) The resulting window will have all of the answers you seek and more: Windows version, 32/64 bit, service packs, processor, memory and computer name.
