EZ-VOTE Connect Cannot Login to CloudVOTE Account

Problem

User cannot login to his/her CloudVOTE account to turn of Demo Mode.

The error message says: "The remote server returned an error - (407) Proxy Authentication Required"


Solution

There are two solutions:

1) Ask your IT for the proxy settings that you would have to use to be able to connect through your corporate firewall.

2) Use a different connection to connect to our server, activate the license and then connect back to your corporate network.


Once you have the necessary information from your IT, open the Connect app (and click Demo Mode to show the Dashboard) and click the Settings (gear) icon. Then click the Manage Proxy Settings button:


On the Proxy Settings screen, click the Manual Connect radio button and enter the information provided by the IT department:
